The month of Ramadan in 2019 begins on the evening of May 4-th and the beginning of the fast itself is counted from the morning of May 5th and in this sacred – special month all Muslims in the world intend to keep the fast during this 30-day period had the opportunity to atone for their sins before Almighty Allah!
The source of the month Ramadan:
Согласно священной писанине, которая приведена в великом книге «Коран», месяц Рамадан упомянуть в аяте 185-ой суры «Ал Бакара» и в нем говорится следующее:
In the month of Ramadan, the Qur’an was revealed – the right guide for people, clear evidence from the right guide and distinction. Those of you who find this month must fast. And if someone is sick or on the road, then let him fast the same number of days at another time. Allah wishes you relief and does not wish you difficulty. He wants you to finish a certain number of days and magnify Allah for putting you on the right path. Perhaps you will be grateful.
The exact date of the beginning of the month of Ramadan in 2019
As is known, the Muslim calendar depends on the phase of the moon and therefore it is inappropriate to say the exact date of the beginning of the month of Ramadan. Usually, the exact date of the beginning of the month is announced 3-4 days before the beginning of the month by the ulama – the highest religious persons of the Islamic world. Sometimes it happens that even the leaders of some countries intervene in the process of determining the calendar of the month of Ramadan for the purpose of political motives, which is negatively responded by some of the population.
Due to the fact that some Muslims do not miss the error, 1-3 days before the month Ramadan is already fasting (they start to keep at once) and even after the announcement of the end of the month they continue to keep ruza for up to 3 or more days until they themselves become convinced of the appearance of the new moon. in the sky.
As far as you know, not all days and nights the sky is clear and it is difficult for Muslims to be guided by the timely appearance of the new moon, and for this reason the ulama may have difficulty or errors in determining the Muslim calendar.
The Muslim calendar is much shorter than the Gregorian calendar and is shorter by about 10 days every year. That is, it happens that the Muslim months go on for 29 days and sometimes even 30, but there is no time for 31 days or 28 days as recorded in our Russian (global financial) calendar. It is worth reminding that this year is the 1440th according to the Muslim calendar and its end falls on August 2019 (the Gregorian calendar).
Among the population, this month is also popular with the month of Oraza-Orozo-Uruz, and in particular among the people of the Turkish pagans, and it is the 9th month in the Muslim calendar.
As for the end of the month, Ramadan also has similar factors that influence the exact determination of the date. But according to preliminary calculations, the end of the month of Ramadan falls on June 5, 2019, and therefore June 6 is considered the holiday of Ramadan.
Ramadan and the most of Uraza (fasting)
Ramadan is a trial period for truly believing Muslims who are healthy, full of adults and able to keep in touch during the 30-day period in order to atone for sins and to get to heavenly heaven after death on the basis of the decree of God which mentioned in The book “Koran” and considering one of the 5 main apostles of the religion of Islam !.
Uraza (Rўza) – has the character of mandatory execution! Also has a standard and in cases of its violation, it is considered invalid. This month of both physical and mental purity is prohibited from doing bad deeds. Ruza (Post-Uraza) requires that, after niyata (verbal intent), in the daytime, any kind of drink, food, drugs, drugs, sexual action be used. It is also recommended to refrain in the daytime from loud laughter, flirting, dancing, sports, disputes, shouts and similar hyperactive actions that can provoke the cancellation of uraza since at the beginning any significant actions will be the ground for undesirable actions.
If to describe with other phrases, Ramadan (Orozo) is the real struggle of nufs (human physical detail) over his spiritual will where his real face is manifested. During this period, a Muslim shows himself before the Lord that he can keep himself from tempting to sacrifice his precious time and wealth for the sake of being devoted to his creator.
In the month of Ramazon, Muslims approach the execution of prayers more responsibly than in the ordinary months of the Islamic calendar, read the holy book “The Quran”, do good deeds, distribute voluntary (sadak) and compulsory (Zayat) alms. Many Muslims who for some reason cease to perform prayers-prayers, then most often this month they return to the observance of this pillar of Islam. That is why Muslims await Ramadan with reverence.
The arrival of Ramadan is a holiday and every true Muslim gladly awaits her as this month the people are trying to refrain from committing more sins and keep themselves clean with a goal to show themselves truly loyal servant – (Abdullah) – Great Allah!
The beginning of Orozo (Lent) is considered from the morning where it is necessary to take food before dawn and say the word “Niyat” and thereby stop using any kind of food, drink and other temptations (cigarettes, nasvay, pills, etc.). But when evening comes, after sunset it is necessary to utter a special word called “Iftar” and thus start eating, which means breaking the fast. The Prophet Mohammed said the following regarding this subject: “When one of you goes to break the fast, let him go to sleep with dates, and if he does not find dates, let him go to sleep with water, for she truly purifies.”
It should be noted that the text of the intention should be pronounced in a timely manner and preferably without an error in integrity:
The word intent should be pronounced after eating before dawn. If you recite niyat in the evening but knowing in advance that tomorrow for some reason you are not able to pronounce it, that is also allowed. But at night you fell asleep and suddenly you ate something or had sex. In such a case, such actions can be corrected before dawn appears by repeated pronouncement of niita.
Knowing that the dawn has already come or doubt the dawn and uttered an untimely word nieni, then such niit is invalid. Usually it is considered to be dawn 30 minutes before the sun appears in the sky, but in the northern parts of the globe there are white nights that in this case the definition has a non-standard character and such is settled by the highest religious experts. But the Iftar time comes after 15-20 minutes after sunset and at this time, too, before nightfall, you need to say the word Iftar in a timely manner and open at once for eating.
Here you should not eat during the fasting, which is horrible, as an empty stomach can react negatively to some products and therefore it is recommended to first use tea or milk or dates or milk and then after reading namaz (Shom) continue breaking the line
IFTAR IN MONTH RAMADAN
Among Muslims, they eat such word as “Ifan” or “Iftor”, which means about breaking off food and drink at night. The iftar process can be both individual and among society. Deferring food is not appropriate and not welcome. This is a joyous time for the holders of the ruza (orozo) and the treat is going on with the feast. But drinking alcohol is prohibited. Smoking tobacco product is a pleasure but it does not enter the iftar menu. Listening to music and dancing is discouraged.
Also the phrase “Iftar” has a different meaning. During Ramadan, Muslims want, according to the Sunni madhhab, to do iftar, which means the distribution of food among society, which is considered to be savab. Usually in rural areas they invite home to themselves and distribute food. About 10-50 people usually come to this treat (men mostly) and treat themselves in the evening for 1-1.5 hours (between the prayers of Shom and Taravih).
But in an urban setting it is difficult and therefore treats – iftar is organized in restaurants, canteens or, in extreme cases, in mosques. There is already a lot more people that can reach hundreds and even a thousand. Usually rich Muslims are ready for such a donation.
Sometimes this kind of iftar (public) is done so that if a Muslim suddenly deliberately breaks the fast, then his one-day fine before Allah equals to treat 60 people in need of a meal. Therefore, such treats even if a Muslim does not have the instigation in Ramadan, but iftar are made for the sake of a stock or a savab.
People usually go to Iftar with a cleansing (takharat) and do not take any items as a gift with themselves because it can negatively respond from the person who makes the donation. At this event, before the start of the iftar, people come 15–20 minutes in advance and sitting there listen to the “Amri Maruf” where the mullah reads surah or hadith for the purpose of spreading and attaching the Islamic current.
After that, when the sunset comes and the mullah utters the Azan loudly, everyone reads Du’Azan and then becomes standard in the accepted order to recite the Salah “Sham” which consists of 3 Farozoans and 2 Suntahs, which can last for about 10 minutes.
After the iftar where a mullah or other supreme spiritual leader participates, reads a part of the Koran and makes a dua, for the sake of the person who made the donation with good wishes from Allah, that the donation was accepted (taken into account in that world) and that his deeds were successful in the future, his family protected and healthy, etc.
Then everyone goes to the mosque and read Namaz “Taravih” and namaz “Huftan”. Or if the village is small, they can read Namaz in the house of this person and then go to their homes.
Tarawih in ramadan
Taraweeh is a type of prayer (prayer) consisting of 20 rakaats that takes place during the night of the month of Ramadan and is considered optional but desirable because the Prophet Muhammad himself (Salalah Alayhi Vasallam) did it and is therefore called sunnah. The meaning of the word “Taravih” explains that it is a namaz “Break or rest.”
Namaz taravih is read after Muslims eat food in the evening in their home or in the iftar (see the highest) and has a period of reading before dawn. The exact time to start reading namaz taravih (tarobekh) in some cases is settled by the Islamic ulama and the population is notified. After about 1 o’clock or 1.5 hours, the beginning of namaz taravih takes place in most mosques of the world, since in the meantime people can have time to eat food (iftar), clean bodies if necessary (taharat) and get to the mosque.
Basically, this type of prayer is performed in mosques, although it can be done alone or with several persons, but reading in a mosque is considered a priority.
If a person comes for the first time and in time to read namaz taravih, he will say “Assalomu Alaikum” at the entrance to the mosque and slightly tilting his hands and also putting his right hand to his heart shows respect in the participants. But it’s not worthwhile to personally greet with all your hands and laugh at the mosque, as these are disrespectful signs and are prone to Vasat Shaitan.
Then you need to read a short prayer for a mosque and sit down at an appropriate place to wait for the beginning of the reading of Taravih namaz. In some places, reading namaz taravih does not immediately begin, since before it began, the mullah makes Amri Maruf, says the Hadith, explains the meaning of the scriptures from the Qur’an and answers questions from those present or receiving letters.
Night al-Qadr (Laylatul Frame)
This night is to be mentioned in the 97th surah of the holy book Quran called “Al Kad”. This surah consists of only 5 oyats and is sent down to the prophet Magomed (CAB) and is considered the final sending. It speaks of the greatness of this night which is better than 1000 months, and it consists in the fact that it is on this night that Muslims have a chance to recoup all their sins that they have ever committed.
The exact date of occurrence of the night of Al frame is not who can not determine but there are several signs serve to determine this night. According to some ulema calculations, it should be on the 27th of the month of Ramadan. But some scientists disagree with this and talk about their options and believe that this is somewhere in the last 10 nights of the month of Ramadan (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Daud).
For these reasons, this night is called the “Night of Power” and truly it is. If the prayers of a Muslim on this night will be accepted by God, in spite of any degree of sins, he will be forgiven and he will go straight to heaven after death.
Based on this, in the month of Ramadan, many are eagerly awaiting the night of “Laylatulkadr” and try to really ask God for a petition and constantly read the prayers and the Koran.
According to some legends on this night, those who will receive prayers – dua, they will receive a sign in a certain image. For example, the night suddenly becomes a very bright day.
A little story about the night “Al frame”: in the 610th year according to the Gregorian calendar in the cave with the name “Hira” which is located in the mountains of “Jabal an-Nur” the surah “Al-frame” was sent to the prophet through Angel Jabrail who ordered the Quran to be read. It was on this night that Muhammad did not sleep and prayed until dawn while reading the Quran.
Therefore, referring to the examples of Magomed, today’s Muslims make prayers on this night in the hope of cleansing sins. Indeed, this is a great night, because in one night a person can erase all Gunahs. But no where it is not registered that if the gunahs will be forgiven then a Muslim will be notified of this. Therefore, Muslims continue to comply with the requirements of the pillars of Islam, including the distribution of wealth that is called Zakat.
Zakat is a type of tax in the Islamic world about which sura 60th is written in the 9th sura of the book “Quran” and is considered a mandatory payment to people in need, including the poor and the poor. Included in one of the 5 basic requirements of the Islamic religion.
Who should pay the sunset: This type of annual tax is paid by someone who has come of age and a certain level of wealth (Nisab). If this person lives in prosperity and he has money and gold as well as securities or precious stones in terms of gold have a value of more than 85 grams, then he must pay Sunset.
Some confuse Sunset with Sadak (Khayr), but they have a difference since Sadak is not an obligatory action, although it has the same character – a donation. When sunset is given, you need to utter the word intention “I give you this amount of money or material benefits in the form of a sunset,” and then give it to those in need.
Zakat is given to certain people and not to the state. The share of sunset is usually not less than 2.5% of the sum is greater than Nisab, and if income is obtained from a crop without artificial irrigation, it is 10%. For example, if there are 3,000 dollars in a house and 12 grams of gold, provided that the price of gold is $ 31 for each gram, then the amount of zakat is $ 18.
Usually, people themselves are engaged in calculating the amount of Zakat and very few people address certain experts in the Islamic world on this issue. But the rich, and in particular in the Arab world, including the sheikhs, empower professionals who are well aware of Sharia law and the economy imposes in the calculation of Zakat.
Even if a person does not have large amounts of cash, but he has other types of wealth in abundance, he is already a payer of zakat. For example, it has 3-4 apartments or the land which itself does not plow, but gives it for rent, and from it receives abundant money, then it must pay sunset. Sunset can be distributed entirely to one person or to several people in need.
But one should not confuse “Zakat” with “Zakat al Fitr”, since the latter is given only after the end of the month of Ramadan and it does not have a large volume. The breadwinner of the family pays Fitr for all members of his family who are in his care, regardless of whether they are Muslim or not.
Sunset should be given to the following persons:
- The poor are those who have absolutely nothing, including a house, a car, gold, a place of work, land, money in sufficient volume to feed themselves, etc .;
- To indigent – if you have not found the poor man, you can give out zakat to indigent persons. In terms of social and economic conditions, this category of people lives better and is therefore in a less needy position. They include those people who have temporary economic and social problems. For example, temporarily unemployed, sick, old, lonely, orphans unattended and so on.
- Zakat collector – this person is appointed by spiritual leaders and giving them zakat is also considered positive;
- To the people in whom you want their faith to be strengthened in Islam;
- For the release of captives and slaves who are Muslims by buying their freedom;
- To cover the loan to those in need who received a loan for treatment, study, construction of a dwelling and achievement of a specific goal permitted by the Shari’a;
- People who are engaged in the spread of Islam – jihad;
- Travelers who need food and care but do not have the opportunity;
PROHIBITED ACTIONS IN URUZA
There are a number of actions that cancel a post if they were committed during the daytime, including:
- The lack of pronunciation of words niyat in the morning, which sets out the intention to keep orozo;
- Eating food or liquid, if this is done intentionally;
- Tobacco use, including smoking cigarettes, nasvay, etc .;
- Having sex even if it was not a seed eruption or did not feel the buzz. Even artificial ejaculation – masturbation to enter the group of prohibited;
- Use of pills;
- Intentional swallowing of sputum that accidentally got into the mouth in order to remove thirst;

Who does not have to keep urazu
The following categories of persons are exempted from fasting (Uruz):
- If he / she is not a Muslim;
- Muslim children: Girls under the age of 9 and boys under the age of 13 according to the lunar calendar;
- Sick people who suffer mental illness;
- Old men or women who are physically unable to fast. For their health may significantly deteriorate. In this case, in order to atone for the post, they will have to feed the 60 poor people or pay a certain amount to the needy (poor people) at their discretion.
- Women are pregnant or those who have babies. If they fear for the health of these babies. These categories of women should be satisfied immediately after the completion of the causes;=
- People who are in a long way although they are allowed to keep fast if they have opportunities.
- Weak sex whose period of menstruation and postpartum cleansing;
Anyone who does not hold a fast should respect the fast of those who hold a uraza and not provoke the annulment of these Muslims. Since various activities such as eating in the daytime next to a person who holds a post can open his appetite and he may break his post. Or various disputes, watching porn, relaxing in a restaurant, loud laughter, flirting, and so on during the daytime are undesirable in front of such people
WHAT CAN’T YOU FORGET?
In the month of Ramadan, Shaytan (Iblis – bad genies) are chained in chains so that they can not Muslims properly perform the uruz. Therefore, this month it is easier for everyone to keep fasting and should take advantage of it.
But do not forget that even you hold a post, you need to keep yourself farther away from the gunakh (sin) and perform more sababs (good deeds), which is recorded in your diary and according to reliable writings from the Prophet Mohammed, they multiply 700 times and rise to times.Also try to spend more time in prayer and help those in need (especially the poor).
- If this is a disease, then it is considered a good reason and after the recovery it is necessary to replenish the missed days as much as was broken. You can also pay in money equivalent to the amount of 1 sa of wheat to the poor or other goods with a value equal to this volume. He can do all this only until next month of Ramadan;
- Disrespectful reasons. Intentionally having sex or equivalent to these actions, as well as eating food or narcotic / tobacco products during the daytime is considered a great sin and it should also be redeemed. To do this, you need to keep a fast for 60 days or feed the 60 poor people. This number may increase as the number of days disturbed;
- If financially or physically it is not possible to compensate – to redeem, then it is necessary to repent heartily.
Last days in Ramadan (10 days)
The last days of Ramadan, a person is exhausted enough and he needs to be more patient and strait-hearted, and therefore Muslims in this period intend to spend more of their strength on reading namaz (worship) and the Koran. Recommend during this period to be more in mosques (itikaf) and will perform the prayers and listening to “Amri Maruf.”
Magomed (CAB) the last days of Ramadan followed such a regime, and many Muslims consider this example a Sunnah. He retired for 10 days in the mosque and the last days of his life retired for 20 days. In case of solitude, it is imperative to utter the word intention that in Arabic is called “Niyat” and it consists of the following phrase “I intend to arrive at the restaurant on this mosque in order to approach Allahu”. This intention is repeated each time if a mosque is visited.
When you exit the mosque, the intention is updated. Al-Qadr (the night of power, the night of predestination) is expected to come on these days.
URAZA BAYRAM-HOLIDAY RAMADAN
After the end of the month of Ramadan, the month of Shaval comes, and now on the first day of this month Ramadan is celebrated in honor of the end of the fast, and it is called Id al Fitr in Arabic, in Idi Ramazon, and in Urozo Bayram. Early in the morning, on this holiday, they read a festive prayer in mosques and until that time they give alms to the needy, which is obligatory and it is called “Zakat al-Fitr”. The size of this type of alms is small and amounts to about 1-3 kg of rice.
